Do you know a remarkable Orange County woman business leader? Nominate her for the annual Remarkable Women Awards given by the Orange County chapter of the National Association of Women Business owners.

The award honors outstanding businesswomen for lifetime achievement, philanthropy and entrepreneur to watch. Nomination deadline is May 12. The winners will be honored later in the year.

“The Remarkable Women Awards is NAWBO-OC’s signature event and allows the organization to showcase the exceptionally talented and accomplished businesswomen we have in Orange County,” said NAWBO-OC President-elect Loreen Gilbert.

“This event gives us the opportunity to learn from the honorees’ life journeys and, year after year, has proven to be an inspirational evening that demonstrates the integral role women business owners play in our community.”

The Lifetime Achievement honoree must have owned a business at least 20 years and currently be majority owner of her business. Nominees should have demonstrated ability to overcome challenges and have long-time commitment to the community and helping other women business owners.

The Entrepreneur to Watch is an owner who started her businesses within the last five years and is still majority owner. She exemplifies entrepreneurial achievement and is a role model for other women.

The Philanthropic Champion is a currently active business owner who has significantly enriched a charity in Orange County through her business.
